The death is announced of James Johnson, sole survivor of the wreck of the clipper Dunbar, which was wrecked on the rocks near Sydney on August 20, 1857. with the loss of one hundred and twenty-one persons and cargo valued at £22,000. Johnson was the sole survivor.
