DUNEDIN WOOL SALE. . (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Duntdln, April 13. A supplementary wool 6ale was held today, and was attended by local buyers and a number of shippers from Christchurch. About 600 bales were offered, the bulk consisting of stragglor wool, but there were some good lots of halfbrcds and crossbred front Otago Central and the West Coast. Competition was very keen, and practically a complete clearance was made. A lino of elipe wool realised 22id. per lb„ and 16a. was secured for a small lot of greasy wool. The range of prices was:—Best half bred, 15d. to 16d.: medium, 13d. to 14d.; best crossbred, 13d. to 14Jd.: medium, lid. to 123 d,; merino. 93d. to lOid.; hest halfbred and crossbred pieces, lid. to 12(1.: medium. Bd. to low.; locks, sd. to 73d.; crutchings, Bd. to lid. ■ SOUTHERN MARKETS. Christchurch, April 13. There Is Tery little business to record in the local wheat market. A few small parcels have been hawked around, but buyers seem a little shy, and are not offering what vendors think is the correct value. It Is difficult to get much more than 6s. 4d. now for Tuscan and Hunters, though some merchants will spring another penny. Tho oat market remains the same, and prices are unchanged. It is said that oatsheaf chaff baß hardened a little, and that good samples are worth £6 a ton. Potatoes remain about the samo, namely, £4 per ton, for April delivery, and a tnflo less for May, and a good quantity is offering.
