Messrs. Dalgety find Oo M Ltd., Masterton, report having held their weekly sale at Taratalii on Monday. There was a fair yarding' of stock, which met with keen competition, and a good clearance was made at the following prices Prime fat wethors, 255.; do. ewes, 235. sd. to 235. 7d.; medium 2 and 4-tooth wothcrs, 15s. 6d.; f. and f. lambs, 12s. 7d., 14s. 4d., to lie. 6d.t m.s. lambs, Bs. 9d.; good woolly lambs, 12s. 6d.; store cows, £2 55., £3 155., to £3 18s.; 20-month heifers, B.W. bull, £3 14s. fid.; woiiner heifers, 245. 6d. Messrs. Dalgety and Go., Ltd., Masterton, report having held their fortnightly sale at Alfredton on Thursday. There was a splendid .entry of stock, 2000 sheep (nrlnclpally wethers and lambs), and 110 bead of cattlo being yarded. A total clearance of both sheep and cattle practically was made under the hammer. The following prices were realised.—Forward wethers, 19s. 3d., 19s. 7d„ 20s. 4d., to 21s. lid.; store 2tooth wethers, 14s. 6d„ 15s. lid., 165., 16s. 10d„ 17s. 2d., 17s. 7d. to 18s. 3d.; 4 and 6tooth ewes (empty) IBs. 3d., f. and f. ewes, 17s. 5d.; 4 and 5-year ewes (empty), 16s. lOd.; f.m. ewes, 13s. 9d. to 145.; cull 2-tooth owes, 135.; good M.S. shorn lambs, 125.; M.S. woolly lambs, 10s. to 10s. 1d.;.8.F. lambs, 9s. 2d.; cull lambs, 7s. 4d.; cows and calves, £4 10s. to £5 12s. 6d.; forward condition 25-ycar heifers, £4 45.; store cows, £2 10s. to £3 <6.; mother-reared weaners, M.S., £2 19s. to £3; bull, £6.
