THE RHODES ESTATE
Thursday, April 29, is the date fixed for the sale by auction of the properties in the estates of the Hon. W. B. Rhodes and Mrs.' >S. A. Rhodes. On this date there will be submitted to the investing public of the Dominion considerably over .£IOO,OOO worth of City freeholds, comprising some of' the most valuable sections in the very heart of Wellington's business area and within, a few paces of the wharves and shipping,' Post Office, mercantile and banking institutions. Careful attention has l>een given to the compilation of the catalogues in book form, setting out in detail the various sites for auction. These are now ready, and may be obtained from any one of the following auctioneers:—Messrs. J. H. Betliune and Co., Harcourt and Co., W. H. Turnbull and Co., and Mr. S. George Nathan, who will conjointly conduct the auction, which will he held in the Chamber of Commerce, Customhouse Quay Wellington. In addition to the central warehouse sites, a number of choice residential properties and sections will be offered. A special advertisement in this issue gives full details of the various lots to bo submitted.
