Lieutenant Anthony Wilding presented a trophy to tho Opawa Tenuis Club. This was attached last year to tho handicap, and was won by D. O'Connell from owe 40. On the arrival of the trophy it was found to be a particularly handsome and valuable cup, and tho committee decided that it was too vr'uable to be won outright, apart from the added value of its association w.th the world-famous Opawa player, so they made it an ''Anthony Wilding Challenge Cup," though it would still be played for in handicaps. It* was handed on, Saturday to the first holder, D. O'Connell.
