A ballot for twelve sections, aggroRating about '6000 acres, being .portion of the Gwavas Estate acquired ~by the Government, was held to-day:, , One hundred and sixty-five selectors put in 016 applications, all parts of., tlie Dominion being represented, The. ballot resulted as follows:—Section 1, L. Langley (Hastings); section 2, 11. A. Mackay (Waipawa); section,.3, R. TV. Cassidy (Napier); section 4, E.M'Millan (Danncvirke); section 6,- A. S., Hodd (I'ahiatua); section 6, T. Condrick (Tikokino); section 7, ,W. Chalmers (Waipukurau); scction "8, C. K. Vesty (Tikokino); section 9, 1\ Brassington (Christchureh); section 43, A. Foulds (Tikokino); section 44, M. Smith (Ngatapu); scction 45, A. Itumbal (Tikokino).
