TOTJR OF NELSON. A party from the Thorndon Cricket club has arranged a programme of matches through the Nelson district for the Easter holidays. Tho party, which consists of Messrs. Black (2), Bradley, Cording (2), Carruthers, Martin, Moore, Moffatt, Murphy, Nlorgate, Phillips, Staples, Roberts (2), and Robinson, will leave here on Thursday and play Nelson, on Friday, On Saturday the team motors through to Motueka to play the local team. From Motueka a motor trip will be mado to 'L'akaka and return will to be made to Nelson in time t-o play the Waimea district at Brightwater on Monday to be followed by a return match in Nelson on tho Tuesday.

The representative match between ths Bo.vs' League junior team and Lo\ver Hutt resulted in a tie after a very exciting game. The scores were: Lower Hutt 28 (Parranfc 11), and 60 (Grieson 31); Wellington 46 (Hall 11, Perry 15), and 42 (M'Kay 13). Bowline I for Wellington, Dalrymple secured four wickets for 13 runs and one for 4; Hall, three for 7, and two for 13; Pope, two for 1, and three for 10: and Perry, two for 10. For Hutt, Pole, two for 4; Grierson, two for 16, and Rehusty, three for 22 performed best.
