EASTBOURNE MAYORALTY
'A representative deputation yesterday waited on Mr. J. P. Kelly and invited him to accept nomination for the Mayoralty of Eastbourne. Eulogistic reference to ■ Mr. Kelly's interest in Eastbourne affairs was made by Mr._ T. Ballinger, who headed the deputation, and Messrs. T. W. Pilcher, H. W. Preston, C. Russell, and others. Mr. Kelly, in replying, thanked the deputation for thei rconlidenco in him, and stated that he would have pleasure in offering his services.
