Saturday, March W, at 8 p.m Mails for Niua Island close at Anckland, Koreru, on Monday. March 29. at 11.45 a.m. Mails for Australian States and South Africa close at Auckland, per Riverina, on Tuesday, March 30, at 10.45 a.m. Late'letters for mails beyond the Dominion cannot in future bo posted on the uteauer, but must be posted in the latetetter postiug-box. at the Chief Post Office up to the appointed time shown on the mail notice. Tho advertised timeß for closing mails by steamers are liable to alteration (earlier or later) at any moment. The parcel-post mail per Main Trunk express closes at the C.P.O. at 11.30 a.m., end Tor the south, per Ferry Steamer, at 5.45 p.m. Parcels for dispatch by steamers and trains, with the exception of the usual ferry'steamers for southern offices, close at the Chief Post Officc, Wellington, one hour before the advertised time of closing of mails. As the 'fist, clearance of the city receivers is made at 5.45 p.m. on Saturdays, all correspondence for the Sunday night Auckland express must be posted et the Chief Post Office not later thTin 8 p.m. on Sunday.
