ELECTORS', ANNUAL MEETING. The second annual meeting of the Lyall Bay and Maranui Municipal Electors' Association was held in the Parish Hall on Thursday, Mr. G. E. Smith presiding; There was a fair attendance. 11l moving the adoption of' the report and balance-sheet, the chairman said that so far there had been 110 inflated land values in the Lyall Bay district. That fact had contributed largely to the advancement of the district. He was pleased that the City Council had acquired a piece of land in the locality for a tram-shed. This should have been done long ago. The report and balance-sheet were both adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows President, Mr. F. J. Evans; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. R. Stansell, C. Foster, G. E.- Smith, R.. Bouttell, and A. W. Moran; Executive Committee, 'Messrs. H. A. Ward, G. A. Stone, A. R. Page, C. P. Ashton, J. Creighton, J. Fairway, T. Burgess, J. Robinson, Hackworth, and Matthews; honorary secretary and treasurer, pro torn., Mr. D. Carman.
