JAPAN'S DEMANDS ON CHINA
SATISFACTORY PROGRESS. (Rec. March 24, 0.0 a.m.) Peking, March 23. The Japanese are erecting extensive barricades at Mukden and Dalny. The conference with China has progressed, four out of seven demands relating to Manchuria being settled almost in accordance with Japan's wishes.
