THE FIXING OF PRICES. (Rec. March 2-4, 0.5 a.m.) Sydney, March 23. Mr. Cann (N.S.W. Chief Secretary) states the Government has not fixed prices for the meat requisitioned by the Imperial Government. Ruling prices were submitted to the Imperial authorities who authorised the Board to seoure supplies at Queensland rates. These prices were fixed for a month and probably will be altered at ihe end of that time. Subsequent instructions authorise the Board to fix prices.
