ZEPPELIN RAID ON CALAIS
FLARE BALLOONS SUSPENDED (Rec. March 21, 5.5 p.m.) > London, March 20. When the Zeppelin attacked Calais she suspended flare balloons far below the car, thereby rendering the Zeppelin invisible. She threw fifty large' Bombs.' One narrowly missed the house lately occupied by the German Consul. Attempts were made to wreck the railway stations and various Some of the bombs fell in the harbour, where hospital ships were anchored. A TAUBE AT DEAL DROPS BOMBS HARMLESSLY. (Rec. March 21, 5.5 p.m.) . London, March 20. 'A' Taube flying near Deal attempted to bomb the shipping. The bombs fell into 'the sea.
