CLOSING PUBLICHOUSES
MATTER UNDER CONSIDERATION (Rec. March 21, 3.30 p.m.) London, March 20. The Government is considering the question of closing publichouses in certain districts, except from noon to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mr. Lloyd George, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, lias invited commercial men's views on the matter.
