CANARDS ABOUT OUR NAVAL LOSSES
CONDEMNED BY A GERMAN WRITER, Amsterdam, March 17. Captain Persius, a well-known military and naval expert, in an article in the "Berliner Tagebiatt," condemns the absurd reports that the British Navy has suffered enormous losses. It was a misconception toyspeak of a substantial weakening of British seapower. Captain Persius acknowledged the mighty material superiority of the English Fleet. •
