BUILDING SOCIETY CONGRESS.

Sir,—On August 11 and 12, 1914, at the Hotel Metropole, London, England, there was held an International Congress of Building and Loan Associations, as generally known in tie United States, building societies, as known in Great Britain, housing companies, as known in paris of Continental Europe, Starr-Bowkett societies, as known in Australia and New Zealand, co-opera-tive banks, as known in Massachusetts, homestead associations, as known in Louisiana, and kindred organisations. This congress adjourned to meet during the Panama Exposition at San < Francisco in August, 1915. At this first International Congress we had representatives present from South Africa, British Guiana, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, England, and a paper from a gentleman in France. We did not have any representative from New Zealand or Australia. We are very anxious to have these countries represented at the meeting in San Francisco in August of this year. Wo are not acquainted with tho representative building society men of Kow Zealand or Australia, and wo take this method of addressing vou to learn their names and addresses. "Will you please to give" - publicity to this request, and also send us the names and addresses of men interested in'these home building companies, so that wo can correspond with them at once?
