At'the last meeting of the Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board it was i decided' (in! committee) that negotiations bo proceeded with in connection with the acquisition of a dairy farm in the Upper Hntt district. It will doubtless be remembered that an animated discussion took place in open boaTd on the motion of the Rev.'Dr. Elliott that, the question, be discussed, in open, board, a motion which was carried. In committee the motion, to proceed with, the negotiations was carried.
I Since thai meeting Dr. F. Wallace Mackenzie has given notice as follows: — "I hereby give notice to the nest meeting of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board that the resolution, to adopt Clause 5 of the Finance, Property, and Policy Committee's report, dated . February 18, 1915, be rescinded." ; Clause 5, above referred to, is the one which gave authority for negotiations to be proceeded with in th« matter of the purchase of the dairy farm.
