MID-WEEK ASSOCIATION THE FIFTH ROUND The raid-week players commenced the fifth rcrand of their competitions on the Basin Reserve yesterday afternoon. The wickets wero in good condition, and some good batting was witnessed. In the match Oriental A-Union, Oriental, batting first, made 188, of which Marshall, 37 not out, was top scorer. Caterer, 31, was next on the list. Harris, bowling for Union, took five wiokets for 93 runs. His averago should have been better, several catches being dropped off him. At the call of time Union bad lost one wicket for 32 runs. In the Oriental B v. Rivals match, Oriental in their first innings made T4S. of which extras totalled 33. At the close of time Rivals had lost one wicket for 148 runs, Wilson being not out with 85.
