Nash's filly Taringamutu, a dual winner at Trentham. ricked her shoulder and will require a few days spell. The injury is not considered serious, but may prevent her from fulfilling her Wanganui engagement. After bis dual win at Takapum Bedford is likely to have many admirers in the Taranaki Cup, to be run next week. The Bunyan colt is liable to be rehandicapped. Nominations for the Dannevirke Meeting close to-morrow night at 9 p.m. with Secretary R. Takle. Little Kauri, who figured in the principal event at the Hutt Valley Trotting Club's Meeting last month, is the subject of the following note by a Dunedin writer: —Little Kauri seems like a horse that should be beard, of again when it is remembered he outstayed and outpaced Yarraville, who was conceding five seconds to the former when he went 4.46 1-5. Next day Yarraville won in 2.15 1-5. Little Kauri is a four-year-old gelding by Proud Child from Ngaio, a mare by Wildwood.
