MONTHLY MEETING,

The ordinary: meeting of the Wellington Technical Education Board was' held last night. There were present; Messrs D. Robertson (chairman), G. 'Frost, J. P. Luke, J. G. W. Aitken, W. ,B. Field, M.P., and J. E. Fitzgerald. , , The Mayor congratulated the chairman on bis improved state of health. Notification was received from the Amalgamated Society of Engineers that Mr. Thomas H. Sutton had been appointed to represent the- society on the Engineers' Board of Control in place of Mr. E.Dolby. The' board accepted the resignation of Miss Ivy Gooder, assistant instructress in art classes, who stated that she was .giving up teaching in- view of her approaching marriage.
