In view of a good deal of trouble • in our own county now they will be interesting TO A FALSE PATRIOT. Yesterday Clear-eyed and earnest, keen' and hard, He held himself the soldier's way— And now they've got him under guard. That doesn't hurt you; you're all right; • • , Your easy conscience takes noblame; ' . But he, poor boy, with morning's light, He eats his heart out, siok with shame. Y/hat's that to you? Yoru- understand Nothing of all_ his bitter pain; You have no -regiment to brand; You havo no uniform to stain.
