NAPIER HARBOUR BOARD
THE ANNUAL REPORT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Napier, January 20. The annual report of the chairman of the Harbour Board, states that every revenue department shows an increase. The revenue for 1914, exclusive of rates, was £50,599 lis. 4d.. or £4159 16s. 6d. ahead of 1918, and £3273 10s. Bd. greater than 1912, which previously held the record. board's new dredge, for the construction of the East Coast railway embankment commences work next week, and the board proposes shortly to seek the sanction of ratepayers for a £300.000 loan for construction of an inner harbour.
