(By Telegraph—Pre** A*9ocie,ti«n.i Auckland, January 20. A fire on the St. Albans Road, Mount Eden, destroyed a house owned by Mr. Richardson and.gutted a house owned by Mr. R. Meachen. Tlio former was insured for £600 in the Northern As : surance Office, and the latter for £500 in tho Guardian. Both houses were unocoupied.
