' . THE NEW BOARD. Nominations in connection with the triennial election of members , of the Hutt River Board closed., yesterday. at noon, with'the result that the election which was 6et down Tuesday next has been rendered unnecessary. Only the five present members of the board were nominated,', viz., Messrs. Henry Baldwin, nominated by F. do J.Clere and E. Hayes; Geo. Bowers, nominated bv .Messrs. M. W. Welch and, W. Knight; Willoughby Knicht, nominated by Messrs. ;H. E. Leighton and C. Pole; M. ,W. Welch, nominated by Messrs. A. Gadsby.and E.-Hayes; Arthur D. Kennedy, nominated by Messrs. F do J. Ciere and W. C. James. The above have been declared duly elected, , as only the requisite, number required. for the board was nominated. . ' •
