WAIHI-PAEROA COMPANY. Auckland, December 23. For the.four-weekly period ended' December 19, the Waihi-Paeroa. Gold Extraction Company,, Ltd., treated 12,200 tons of tailings for a return, of £4100. BOSS GOLDPIELDS. The secretary of the Ross Goldfields Reconstructed, Ltd., has received the following report from the Mine. Superintendent on tho work at the mine for' the-week ending December 17:-No.'7 level: The weßt drive is out 228 feet from No. 7 plat. . At tho intermediate, No. 2 wing drive has advanced 32 feet east, the value of tho wash being somewhat erratic, varying from low ,to fair grade At 47 feet south-east of Nos.-2. shoot, No. 3 oouth-west drive-was commenced and is now out 38 feet in pay wash.. The north-west blocking strip oft No. l.Eouth-west'drivo was extended 10 feot in; pay wash, which continues to,show low down in the face.. Blocking has been continued off.
