THE "MESSIAH."
At the Town Hall to-morrow night the Royal Choral. Society will perform Handel's "Messiah" under the baton of Mr. Herbert Bloy. Tho net proceeds 'of the performance will bo devoted to tho fund for the relief of the poor in Great Britain, Ireland, and Belgium, and that alono is sufficient reason why the performance should bo well patronised. The quartet of soloists' engaged would attract attention in any part of Britain, and are: Soprano, Miss Annctta. Georgo (London); contralto, Miss Mina Caldow (Wellington),; tenor, Mr. Martin Duff (Dunedin); and baritone, Mr. Peter Danson, the worldfamous oratorio singer. The box plan will remain open at the Dresden till 8 o'clock to-night, where reserved seats, 3s. and 25., can bo secured, while a supply of Is. tickets will also bo obtainable at the box office. All suburban trams will be delayed till after the performance, which will conclude at about 10 o'clock. Doors will be open at 7.15.
