ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) « . CYCLIST COLLIDES WITH TRAIN. Palmerston N., December 23. A young man named Herbert Kemll, aged 19, employed as a mail deliverer atthe Post Office, collided with a train this afternoon, and was rendored unconscious. He was taken to the Hospital. Kersall was riding a motorcycle over a leveksrossing, and apparently did not- notioe an approaching train. After striking the engine he was thrown some fifteen yards. DEATH FROM GUNSHOT WOUND. Inveroargill, December 23. At the inquest on William M'Caw, a resident of Waimatuku, the Coroner found that death was due to a gunshot wound, self-inflicted in a fit of temporary insanity.
