hich wind and sunshine. High winds and plenty of sunshine helped to provide keen and tricky greens for the bowlers on Saturday afternoon. There has been scarcely a Saturday since the season opened when the wind has not been blowing with disconcerting strength, and at 4.30 p.m. it invariably turns cold and drives the less hardy players from the green.
