Fell, lion, secretary of the New Zealand Choss Association:—H. A. Mackenzie and W. C. Hill (Wellington Chess Club), G. F. Dodds (Nelson Chess Club), E. H. Severne; (Canterbury Chess Club), W. Moore (Masterton Chess Club), and O. C. Pleasants (Wang'anui). •' Entries close next Saturday, and it is expected that somewhere about an- 1 other half dozen names will have been handed in *by then, including E. 'A. Hicks (Napier), J. Mason (Pal nerston North), T. Mara (Timaru), J. B. Dunand one or two AuckThe Wellington Working Men's Club is entitled to nominate two competitors, and a decision will bo comer to by this club on Tuesday' evening at a meeting to be "held to present the prizes won in their 1014 tourneys, and generally to (vind _up the current season. It is not yet certain whether the Rev.' C. E, Fox and his brother, the Bev. B. G. Fox, will arrive from Norfolk' Island in time to take part.
