At the Magistrate's Court, before Mr. Kendrick, S.M., Alan Alexander Cuthbertson tas charged .with a breach of the- Legislature Act in that he signed his name as a witness to a signature! upon a claim for- enrolment without' having seen such a signature written, by the claimant., Two other similar charges were laid against the defendant. In one he ploaded guilty and not guilty iu the others. After hearing evidence a fine of £10 ,on each of two charges was inflicted. The 'informations were laid by the' Registrat-.
