The Prime Minister: I may say that I am being deluged with applications from millers, who . say that they are ■ short of supplies, or rapidly '• running ' short. What I have instructed my officers to do is_ to supply wheat to those whoso supplies are exhausted. The . price will be fixed by proclamation. Another proclamation will be issued in the course of a day or two. _ Tho position has absolutely changed in the last fortnight."
