Rome, October 15. -, A message from Trieste states that a fire at the Montfaleone Arsenal dV' y stroyed the scaffolding of an Austrian Dreadnought, which was ready for launching on Monday. The vessel crashed to the ground, and sis destroyers were also damaged. Many;workmen have been.arrested on suspicion of incendiarism. • ■ ■ ■ Five thousand men were employed at the Montfaleone Dockyard, and i the authorities recently largely superseded Italians by Slavs. Seditious inscriptions have now been found on the walls, such as "Long Live Princig"' (Archduke Franz Ferdinand's assassin), and point to Slav, incendiarism.
