RUSSIANS DEFEAT AUSTRIANS IN GALICIA
BAHLE NEAR WARSAW SUCCESSFUL EXPLOIT IN HUNGARY (Rec. October 16, 10.5 p.m.) Petrograd, October IS. Official.—The Russians defeated the Austrians south of Przemysl. Five hundred prisoners were captured, also several machine-guns. (Reo. October 17, 1.15 a.m.) Petrograd, October 16. The Russians are ceaselessly bombarding Przemysl. REPORTED DEFEAT OP. AUSTRO-.GERMAN. ARMJi, (Rcc. October 16, 10.5 p.m.) Rome, October 15. The "Messagero's" Petrograd correspondent states that the Austro-Ger-man forces were completely defeated near Warsaw, and suffered great losses.
