• STRIKES THREE JONES. (Rec. October 8, 10.30 p.m.) Ostend, October 7. The British steamer Ardniount (3510 tons) struck threo British mines and sank after the third explosion. ' A TRAWLER BLOWN UP. • (Reo. October 8, 11.30"p.m.) London, October 7. An English trawler was blown up by a mine in tho North Sea. Seyen persons perished. There were three survivors, two of whom are severely wounded.
