KAISER'S MILITARISM'DETESTED. (Rec. Ootober 8, 11.30 p.m.) Ottawa, Ootober 7._ Tho inhabitants of Berlin in Ontario, of whom about twelve thousand are Germans, or of German descent, have collected £15,000 for tho National Patriotio Fund, and have cabled to Lord Kitchener expressing the liopo that German militarism will bo smashed for good, and the people set free to create a greater and better Germany.
