GERMAN VIEW OP LONDON Rome, October 7. The "Frankfurter Zeitimg," commenting on the silence and reserve of tlio German General Staff, praises the patience and endurance of the German nation, notwithstanding the incredible reports launched throughout the world by "that Grey Lie Factory, London." The "Vossisc'he Zeitung" states that German troops remained a fortnight at Compiegne without damaging the town, while the British destrbyed the beautiful stone quarries.
