ENGLAND'S RESPONSE
REVELATION TO GERMANY New York, October 6. The "Sun," in an article headed "The Regeneration of England," says: "The eagerness with which peer and comr moner, capitalist and labourer, squire and peasant, .responded to the country's call proved a perfect revelation to the Germans, who scoffed at any serious military resistance from Great Britain. From south, east, and, west the men of the Empire are-thronging to deliver the world of military terrorism." SECOND CANADIAN FORCE. Ottawa, October. 7. Cabinet has decided to send a second Expeditionary Force.
