BOWLS
OPENING OF THE SEASON. The Wellington, Newtown, and Thorndon Clubs are to open their greens for the season at 2.15 p.m. to-day, weather permitting. All the city greens are now in first-class condition, and what is required by tho bowling fraternity is reasonably warm weather to'make them as happy as kings. Other clubs havo fixed their openings for Saturday next.
The following will represent Kelburn at the opening of the Thorndon green: —Harton. M'Coll, Routloy, Gray. Tho following will represent Keiburn at the opening of tho Wellington green: —Doherty, Manley, Macarthur, Baldwin.
