The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report:—At Palmcrston North eale on' Thursday wo bad «, fair yarding, all lines selling freely. Quotatione:—Empty ewes, 14s. 3d.; yearling steers, discoloured, 325.; good yearling steers, £2 4s. 6d. to £2 175.; yearling heifers, 3s! ,to £2 36.; 2-ycar heifers, £2. 16s. 6d.; store cows, £3 15s. to £3 19e. 6d. to £4; light fat cows, £6 6s; springing cows, £5 10e. .
