EMPEROR OF AUSTRIA SERIOUSLY ILL.
(Reo. August 24, 8.15 p.m.) London, . August 24. A telegram from Rome reports that the Emperor Francis Joseph of Austria is seriously ill. The Emperor of (Austria celebrated his eighty-fourth birthday just a week ago to-day. He has been on the tlirono since December 2, 1848.
