The number of sheep frozen in Now Zealand, during tho year ending June ,31, 1914, was 2,009,404, and the-.number of 1amb5'3,691,251, 'making a total of 6,200,658.7,.The5e figures represent an increase over last year of 166,000 sheep, ' and,vl64;J7l ' lamb.s.., Notwithstanding .this'large output,\sheep'had'increased :during the year by about 400,000, chieflT ill tha South Island.
