_A special meeting of tho local execu-. tive of the Navy League was held last uight- in connection with the arrangements for the local' celebration: of Trafalgar, on October 21. The thanks of the League were oxtended to Mr. Hardie Shaw for undertaking to supply tlio lantern accessories- for displaying Nelson slides and other naval pictures appropriate fco tho occasion. .

Major J. E. Watson, of Invercargill, who gave an address at the Dunedin celebrations last 'year, accepted tho League's invitation to epoak this year at Wellington on "Our Heritage."
