In connection with the deadlock which occurred at -the City Council meeting on July 6 owing to the trouble (as previously, reported) between the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) ,and Councillor A. *H. ffindmnrsh, nothing out of, the ordinnrv followed at- last night's meeting; When tho Legislation and Reclaimed Land Leases Committee's report came before the council, the chairman (Councillor H. Buddie) moved a formal resolution to the effect that Mr. A. L. Wilson's tender (£220) be accepted for section 119, Lainbton Reclamation. The resolution-was adopted without discussion. As it was in connection .with this question thta the deadlock occurred in committee at the meeting on July 9, the passing of the ■resolution..last.-night closed the. iaci* .fWit.. . . '
