HOMING PIGEON SOCIETY.

The annual meeting of . the Wellington Homing Pigeon Society was held last evening, when the following officers, were elected Mr. T. Ronayne; president, Mr. M. G. Grenside; vicepresidents, Messrs. W. Finn, and D. W. Dunbar; secretary, Mr. A. Croskey; treasurer, Mr. A. Clark; auditor, Mr. J. Elliott; committee, Messrs. W. Bailey, P. W. Lamb, J. H. Clark, C. Ridding, C. Villor, J. Bruce; clock and judging committee, Messrs. J. 11. Clark, A. Clark, C. Ridding; and C. W. Lamb. ■ A vote of sympathy was passed to the relatives of the late Mr. G. MacQuarrie, of Nelson, an ardent fancier.
