M'Rao (Palmerston), J. A. Riddell (Danncvivke), P. E. Watson (Pnlmerston). Speaking'after his election Mr. Short ;nid that it was his ambition to give associations. In the courso of events lie" associations. In course of • events he hoped to lay a big. scheme before, the association, which would place it in tho position it should be in—at tho head of the other associations in the Dominion. _ Bo suggested that a "King of Carnival" competition should bo started amongst members to see who could bring in most new members. • He would like, during, Iris term of office, to see the membership reach 3000. .
