The Marquis of Crowe (Secretary of State for India), answering a question in'the'House of Lords, admitted that Captain , Bellinghrfm, aide-de-camp to the Earl of Aberdeen (Lord Lieutenant of Ireland) had inspected tho Nationalist volunteers, and told them that their duty was to ensure the triumph of Homo Rule. Tho Captain had since explained that ho spoke under the influenco of local surroundings, and had expressed his regrot. The incident was closed.
DEPUTATION TO MR, REDMOND. (Rec. June 19, 11.25 p.m.) London, June 19. Tho Provisional Committee- of tho Nationalist Volunteers deputed two members to wait on Mr, John Redmond unci urged that steps should be taken for the immediate withdrawal of-tho arms proclamation.
