A memorial service is to be hold at tho Missions to Seamen Church to-morrow afternoon in connection with tho loss of tho Empress of Ireland. '• The Bishop of Wellington will bo the preacher, and the choir of St. Paul's I'ro-Cathedral will lead t4ie singing and render tho Rov. H. H. Woodward's sotting of ■Tennyson's "Crossing the Bar." Mr. K. Parker, the cathedral organist, is u> presido at the orpan. The order of service, including" selected appropriate hymns, has been specially printed for distribution to the congregation. While seats are to bo reserved for all seafaring men, arcplo provision will bo mado for the general public, who are invited to attend tho eervice. Wo have boon asked to intimate that any gentlemen connected with tho shipping of tho port who may havo been overlooked in tho invitations are requested to present their cards at the door.
