HON. R. H. RHODES
TEN DAYS IN CANTERBURY. (By Telesraph.—Prose Association./ Christciiurch, June 2. Tlie Hon. R. H. Rhodes, PostmasterGeneral and Minister of Public Health, arrived in town this morning from Wellington, and will remain in tho Canterbury district for a space of about ten days. Mr. Rhodes , wjll spend a busy' day to-morrow. In the morning ho will take part in tho King's Birth-' day parade of Territorials, and, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, he will open the King George V Coronation Memorial Hospital in connection with the consumptive sanatorium on the Cashmere Hills. On -June 10 the Minister will turn tho first aod of tho new branch of the railway that is to bp built between. Culvcrdcn and Waiau. On the ovening of Juno 12.Mr. Rhodes will attend the opening of the new Public Hall at Duvauchelles.
