DEMAND BY ARMED MAN
SENSATIONAL AFFAIR. (By tfelesraph.—Vrcsa Association.) Auckland, May 22. A sonsatiorial incident is reported to have taken place at Ko.hinifl.rama. yesterday. Information was received by tlio police that, in 'tkft morning, a man went to a liouso and knocked at the door. A woman answered ttio call, and the stranger then asked if hor litishand was at home. Upon receiving a reply in "the negative, lm is stated to have presonted a revolver, and demanded all the money that the- woman had. At tlie samo tinio the man accidentally dropped a cartridge. *'he woman said that she had no money, and the man then went to another he-«so. Afterwards ho made off.
