GO) beat F. A.' Lairs (roc. 25), by 11G points; F. A. Roado (rcc. 25) boat V. R. Bennett (rcc. 50), by 111 points; A. J. Turner (rec._ 75) beat S. Gribble (owes 100), by C points. A rooil deal of interest was centred on tlio Tiicker-Shephcrdson and TurncrGribblo Raines, and good billiards was displayed in both. Tueker did not havo. matters all his own ivay with Shophordson, but ho played consistently, and brought off somo fino individual shots that "pleased the spectators. IKs breaks word: 44, 33, 31, and 29. In the GribbleTjirner contest, tlio back-marker naught liis opponent at 327, but Turner managed to pet home by 5 points.
